
Shot from 30,000 feet on a flight from the U.S. to Alaska, this three-image portrait series captures a frozen river carving its way through the rugged west coast of Canada, then widening and dissolving into the ocean.
I noticed the river’s sweeping, sculpted curves from the window and knew a single frame couldn’t hold the full story. So, I photographed three sequential views that combine into one continuous piece of art. The result is a panoramic triptych that celebrates scale, silence, and the clean graphic lines of winter from the air.
